We spotted this beautiful black rhino on the 8th of august in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. According to information provided by KZN Wildlife this individual should still be alive – a reason to celebrate on World Rhino Day and honour all those who are involved in conservation efforts. • Thanks Andries, yes, this was a very special one. It actually presented itself after the missed leopard I was talking about in the Natal fig post. I’ve gotta be honest, I’m getting frustrated about the leopards as I haven’t seen a single one in four visits to SA/Zim; but the Rhino is in the pocket!
