Preparation for the new machining centre

Our new DMU 600 Gantry linear machining centre will be delivered in March 2018.

The first step has already been taken, and work on the machine bed / foundation has begun.
We will keep you up to date on the installation of the machining centre.

Einstein Motorsport

We support the Einstein Motorsport Formula Students Team at Ulm University of Applied Sciences.

Our support encompasses the production of individual parts in our training workshop. This is why we currently have a racing car from the 2015 season in our entrance area.

The WBA Tooling Academy Aachen is the leading partner of the tool and die industry in the areas of industrial consulting, further education and research. The WBA reproduces the entire toolmaking process chain in its own demonstration tool shop and develops innovative solutions for the sector together with over 80 member companies. As a platform for the tool and die industry, the WBA, with its 35 employees, builds a bridge between science and industry.

A farewell to Jürgen Mangold

Jürgen Mangold, who was Managing Director of the company for many years, was bid fond farewells at a company ceremony on 17 June 2016 and best wishes on his retirement.

His successor was already resolved, with Uwe Born, the new CEO, taking charge of management of the WBL Group.

Bestellung des neuen Geschäftsführers

Im Februar 2016 wurde Herr Uwe Born als neuer Geschäftsführer für die WBL Gruppe bestellt.

Er folgt auf Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen Mangold, der sich im Juni des gleichen Jahres in den Ruhestand verabschiedete. Uwe Born verfügt über viel Erfahrung im Werkzeugbau und leitete bereits ein Unternehmen der Branche als Geschäftsführer.
